“Atmopsheric funeral metal” is how this is described by the label and that’s a pretty bang-on description. Slow, ponderous with plenty of mournful synth and great, monosylabic vocals intoned without a hint of tune, augmented with rasping death growls as the 42 minute (!) single track goes on. I haven’t listened all the way through (come on, I’ve got about 100 new records in this update and I just got in the new Brainbombs album for myself!) but it’s decent stuff.
