WINTER SEVERITY INDEX – Slanting Ray 2xLP

Something a bit different here from Bloodrock. These guys play dark post-punk/goth. The singer sounds like a female version of Robert Smith in The Cure’s 17 Seconds/Faith/Pornography period, and in fact the tunes aren’t a million miles away either. Think Clan Of Xymox, Xmal Deutchland, maybe the more gothy periods of Siouxsie And The Banshees or Depeche Mode. Dark! Very recommended from me.
