Anything that comes out on a label which just calls itself ITALIAN DOOM METAL RECORDS cannot be bad, right? And y’know what? It’s not! In fact, it’s really pretty great. Very dense and heavy doom with pretty sparse vocals which sound recorded in a room down the hall a-la Sleep’s Holy Mountain. In fact, that record is a pretty good comparitor to this, and while it doesn’t scale the heights of (in my mind), the greatest stoner-doom record ever made, it does a not bad job of paying tribute.
